Code for America is looking for a talented Administrative Assistant who excels in a fast-paced environment, has top notch organizational skills, and is excited by the opportunity to help the team thrive.

About the Role: 

In this role, you will spend 70% of your time supporting one of our product teams, 10% in Office Operations, and 20% in general administrative support. You’ll be the go-to resource, helping support the team in keeping things running smoothly and efficiently, with thoughtful, effective communication.

This role will be remote, and reports to CfA's Manager of Executive Administration. 

In this position you will:

  • Be in the online from 8:00am – 5:00pm Pacific Time
  • Problem solve last minute scheduling changes 
  • Support calendaring and scheduling for Safety Net team and others as needed and travel needs
  • General administrative support

About you:

  • 1-2 years administrative experience
  • Thoughtful, empathetic, and effective communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Top-notch organization skills
  • Team Player, you love helping others
  • Proactive and driven, you anticipate what may come up and see things through
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Thrives amidst ambiguity and regularly changing environment
  • Strong knowledge of G Suite including Gmail and Google Calendar
  • Comfortable in high volume email environment

We are happy to extend this transparency during the recruitment process. As a part of our equitable hiring practices, we aim to target the midpoint of the 2nd quartile of the range for all new hires. The targets for this role are dependent on the market/geographic location. The targets for this role range from ($54,251 -  $66,413).
