We are looking to fill a VP of Enterprise Sales & Marketing role for our Commercial – Mysa HQ Team remotely across Canada or the United States. Our Mysa HQ division provides Energy Management Systems (EMS) tailored for multi-site retail, restaurant chains, franchises, and professional service businesses. 
As the VP of Enterprise Sales & Marketing, you will spearhead our enterprise sales and marketing efforts for the B2B SaaS business line. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will set strategic direction, cultivate high-level client relationships, and deliver on aggressive growth targets. You will be responsible for defining and executing comprehensive sales strategies, leading a dynamic team, and ensuring seamless integration of sales and marketing initiatives to attract and close deals with franchisees and major retailers.

Role Overview:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
  • Develop and implement integrated sales and marketing strategies for the B2B SaaS business line.
  • Define revenue targets, budget allocations, and performance metrics in collaboration with the CEO and executive leadership.
  • Sales & Marketing Leadership:
  • Oversee and mentor cross-functional teams responsible for driving enterprise sales and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Establish sales methodologies and marketing initiatives to optimize lead generation, client engagement, and deal closing.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-level decision makers at enterprise clients, including major franchises and multi-site organizations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients, addressing their unique business needs with tailored solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track, analyze, and report on sales and marketing performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic insights to the CEO and senior leadership on market trends and campaign effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with product development and customer success teams to ensure alignment between market needs and product offerings.
  • Coordinate integrated sales and marketing efforts to enhance brand presence and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Your Star Qualities:

  • Experience & Background:
  • 15+ years in a senior sales & marketing leadership role, with a strong focus on B2B SaaS, ideally within the tech or energy management sectors.
  • Proven track record of scaling revenue in an early-stage startup or high-growth environment, ideally targeting enterprise or multi-site clients.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, thriving in a fast-paced, scaling environment with ambiguity
  • Leadership & Management Skills:
  • Experience building and managing sales and marketing teams, with a hands-on approach to hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in setting clear objectives and driving teams to meet or exceed ambitious revenue targets.
  • Client Engagement Expertise:
  • Extensive experience in managing relationships with enterprise-level clients, including franchises and multi-site organizations.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to influence C-level executives who control the budgets and make the procurement decisions.
  • Technical & Analytical Proficiency:
  • Strong understanding and use of CRM systems, sales analytics, and digital marketing tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to synthesize complex market data into actionable business strategies.
